Timelapse Photography

Santa Monica, CA,  Pacific Park Pier, Ferris Wheel, Roller Coaster, Amusements 6FPS

Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby each frame is captured at 3 sec. intervals, much slower than it will be played back (6fps). When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.

Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, such as the motion of the clouds or an amusement park become very pronounced.
