You never know what to expect at sunrise. I think of it as a sunset in reverse and start photographing when it is dark, 20-30 min before/after. This turned out the way I saw it on a cloudy marine layer morning.

This Masonic Temple is a major attraction and a pleasant walk from the waterfront. My knee was bothering me from the walk up the hill however climbed the stairs to the top and was glad I did. Not only a great view of Alexandria but on the way down I repeated "my knee is getting better and better with every step I take" and it hasn't bothered me since..
