I have been asked many times on when to use the built in flash on your camera when taking photos in full daylight.....good question.
Above is an example of a daylight mixed lighting situation....please note the postcard rack on the right looks darker, is in the shade, with no detail.
I used the cameras pop up flash on image #2 to fill in the postcards slightly so the image looks more balanced. This took only seconds to complete and to my eye is more pleasing.....when in doubt do it both ways... you will be glad you covered yourself when you get home...
